Wednesday Night July 23rd to Sunday Afternoon July 27th
Join us from July 23rd to July 27th, 2025, for four days of connection, laughter, and celebrating what makes us family. Just 15 minutes from Heber City, Utah, we’ll gather under the stars to share stories, make memories, and embrace our unique selves. Get ready to shine!
Pre Campout Tye Dye Party
Amethyst is putting on a Pre Camp Tye Dye Party. Details can be found HERE.
THEME: BE A STAR!
We’re all unique, weird, wonderful, and different—and that’s what makes us shine! Forget trying to be the star others expected; let’s celebrate who we are. At our campout, bring your unique spark, share it freely, and witness the brilliance of our tribe. Dress up, tell your story, or shine however feels right!
How to Be a Star at Camp
Starry Style Sacred Theater Night: On Friday for Sacred Theater (see below), rock an outfit that screams you—think glitter, bold colors, or quirky accessories. We’ll have a group photo sesh!
Story Circle: Saturday night, share a short tale about a moment you felt like a star (or totally weird—and proud of it).
Stargazing: Bring binoculars for a guided night sky tour to find real stars (weather permitting).
Good to Know
Location: Wallsburg, Utah. Address to come.
Weather: Expect 80s to 100s during the day, 60s to 70s at night.
Contact: Jason at 435-602-6853
STORY
Kurt Vonnegut tells his wife
he's going out to buy an envelope:
“Oh, she says, well, you're not a poor man. You know, why don't you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet?”
And so I pretend not to hear her. And go out to get an envelope because I'm going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope.
I meet a lot of people. And see some great looking babies. And a fire engine goes by. And I give them the thumbs up. And I'll ask a woman what kind of dog that is.
And, and I don't know.
The moral of the story is - we're here on Earth to fart around.
And, of course, the computers will do us out of that. And what the computer people don't realize, or they don't care, is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around. And it's like we're not supposed to dance at all anymore.
Let's all get up and move around a bit right now... or at least dance.
Lighting the Way: At last year’s campout, we lit candles to honor those who couldn’t join us and to send prayers to those in need. This year, as we “Be a Star!” let’s continue this tradition, shining our light for the whole tribe—near and far.
Our Candle-Lighting Ritual
Each year, we take a moment to light candles for those who can’t be with us, those who need extra love, or anyone on our hearts. Bring a name or intention to share during our Friday Starry Style Sacred Theater Night. Let’s honor our tribe’s stars—seen and unseen—together. During the candle-lighting, take a moment to think: Who in our tribe has been a star in your life? How can you shine for someone else this weekend?

SACRED THEATER
Sacred Theater: Shine Bright on FRIDAY Night!
Friday, July 25th at 9:00 PM
Join us around the campfire for a special tradition—Sacred Theater! We’ll gather at 9:00 PM, start with a few warm-up activities to get comfy (including our Candle Lighting Ceremony), and then take turns stepping into the spotlight. Each of us will share a 2-minute performance of our choosing. This is your moment to shine as a star in front of the tribe!
The stage is yours—show us who you are!
For our new tribe members: Sacred Theater is a safe, joyful space to express yourself, and yes, it’s mandatory because we can’t wait to see your light! Questions? Reach out to Jason or Jennie for a warm welcome and any guidance.
What could you do?
Sing a song or improvise a rap
Dance your heart out
Recite a poem or tell a story
Say a prayer or lead a meditation
Teach a yoga pose or share a laugh
Inspire us with courage or profundity

Contribution supporting our hosts
We’re so grateful to Amy and David for sharing their beautiful farm in Wallsburg, Utah, for our campout. To honor their generosity, let’s keep the farm clean and tidy during our stay. We’re also collecting a minimum contribution of $20 per person to help with upkeep costs, including porta potty rentals and cleaning, water usage, and land maintenance.
Please send your contribution to Jason’s Venmo (or ask for details if needed) by July 20th. I’ll gather all contributions into a lump sum to deliver to Amy and David. If you’re feeling generous, feel free to give more—we know they’ll appreciate it! Alternatively, you can bring cash to the campout and give it to Jason on-site.
Let’s shine as a tribe by leaving the farm better than we found it!

Tips for Your Trip
Pack smart: Since you’re car camping 15 minutes from home, you can afford to bring extras, but keep the car organized with bins or duffels.
Check weather: Look up the forecast for July 23–27, 2025, for your area to tweak clothing and shelter needs.
Meal prep: Pre-cook some meals (like your Grandma’s Chili Verde from our past chat).
Group plan: Share this checklist with the tribe via email or group chat to ensure everyone’s on the same page.
Test gear: Set up tents or check stoves at home to avoid surprises.
Dogs Are Allowed!
Are dogs welcome? Yes they are! However, they must be well-behaved. There are farm animals around (chickens and more) plus other dogs, so keep them under control.
Kids Under 18
Due to the semi-adult nature of Friday Night’s Spirit Pharmacy Sacred Theater event, children under 18 are not permitted to attend that portion of the camp. This keeps them and us safe through Friday night. Kids are welcome at all other times. (This usually translates to teenage kids coming Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon). If you have any questions about this, please contact Jason or Jennie.
