🌌 Sunday Night — Part II: Forgive Your Father
And then, as night falls, something shifts.
The field stops being a field. It becomes a portal — a bridge between past and present, father and son, wound and redemption.
Ray’s father steps out of the corn and asks one simple question:
“Do you want to have a catch?”
No speeches. No explanations. No apologies.
Just the ancient ritual of father and son — throwing the ball back and forth. A loop. A circle. Forgiveness made flesh.
It makes me wonder:
What if forgiveness isn’t something we give after the pain is over?
What if it’s something we build space for before it ever arrives?
We create the field.
We make the room.
And maybe — just maybe — the ones we thought were gone will step across the line and join us there.
