Today something momentous happened in my life…
Rush — the two surviving members, Geddy and Alex — announced a 50th anniversary tour.
Not a lot of shows, but a few.
And it hit me deep.
They mean something to me.
I’m still figuring out exactly what — but the feeling’s been rolling around in my chest all day.
This afternoon, I went to the golf course with my son Riley to hit some balls.
We listened to the first Rush album from 1974, laughed, and talked about life.
The nostalgia of the past, mixed with time with my son — it hit me again.
Life is good.
I worry too much about it sometimes.
But if I could just sit back and breathe… I’d see the forest for the trees.
