🌙 Midnight Post – 2:00 AM
Can’t sleep.
But that’s okay.
A good friend messaged for a bit, then went quiet.
Now it’s just me—and the stillness of these early morning hours.
I’ve been thinking about what really made a difference in my life.
The few things I would share if I could only share a handful.
The first is the spiritual concept of Polarity—Masculine and Feminine—within the great dance of the appearing universe.
That might sound abstract, but it’s not.
It’s the most practical, workable thing I’ve ever found.
Years ago, I’d already lost my first wife—she overdosed.
I was raising three kids on my own.
Then I met Jennie.
Life got infinitely better… for a while.
But even that “better” started to fade.
We slipped into a kind of painful endurance.
Something was wrong, and we didn’t know what.
Then—whether by luck, grace, or sheer divine setup—we met David Deida and attended a three-day private relationship workshop in Ojai, California.
That experience changed everything.
The simplest, most profound thing I took from it was this:
Someone experiencing something is the spiritual model of the universe.
The someone is the Masculine.
The something is the Feminine.
And when you learn to inhabit one or the other with awareness, breath, and practice…
You create Polarity—the charge, the current, the living magic between you and your partner.
It sounds simple.
It is simple.
But it’s not easy.
I’d already failed my kids once.
I wasn’t going to fail them again.
So I worked. Hard. With Jennie.
But it wasn’t just fear that drove me.
It was something deeper—an unshakable knowing that life could be more.
That marriage could be alive again.
That intimacy could be sacred.
That family could be holy ground.
And while Polarity saved my marriage, it also opened a rabbit hole that changed everything I thought I knew about life itself.
That’s a story for another time.
For tonight, this is enough.
Everything changed.
