I lost an hour of brilliance today.
Walked outside talking to God, to myself, to the book— and came home to find my fancy mic hadn’t recorded a damn thing.
For a minute, I was furious.
Then I laughed. Because this is the work.
Men don’t get stronger by avoiding failure—we get forged by meeting it cleanly.
By owning the moment, not collapsing into blame.
So I went back to the drawing board.
Researched. Learned. Upgraded.
Made the next conscious choice.
That’s the practice.
Try. Miss. Adjust. Choose again—eyes open, shoulders square.
We don’t always get it right.
But we always get to choose again.
