Right Relation to the Forge
Day 3 – The Mirror of Men
So if your group of men won't save you… what are they good for?
Function One: The Recharge.
I once saw a group of women singing and dancing—flowing, touching, laughing through tears and bodily expressions of light and emotion.
Near them, in stark contrast, sat a circle of men in silent meditation around a giant oak tree.
Each group had its energy. Each sustained its members in different ways.
You don't join a circle to dissolve resistance—you steepyourself in the masculine emptiness, in a way that's enhanced by sitting with other men. Humor. Silence. Wisdom. Stillness.
The right group fills you with the sacred energy of men in a way you can't get any other way.
Men need men.
"To sit with good men is to recalibrate your compass—not toward comfort, but toward truth."
Tomorrow: When the mirror becomes the circle—and the forge turns communal.
