Good morning.
After a big event like Modern Day Warrior there’s always a void. What now? I get this after every peak — clean up, processing, integration. And the honest truth: we often skip those steps. We rush back into life and miss the real work.
In 2020 I came back from a huge experience with a stack of notes. As I read them, organized them, and built practices from them, a thought landed: this is my work.
The degree to which you process your peak experiences is the degree to which you make room for the next peak. The sword — the peak experience — is powerful. But the pen — the processing and integration — is mightier. Use them together and your growth compounds. You become wiser, stronger, and more durable.
If you just finished something big, give yourself permission to slow down. Process. Integrate. The next peak will arrive — and you’ll be ready for it.
